The Hollywood carbon peel utilises a medical grade carbon serum paired with the Q-switched ND-Yag Laser.

FAQ'S

Every new client of Southern Skin Clinic will require a full cosmetic consultation. This consultation will include clinical photography, skin assessment and facial assessment based on your concerns and expectations. Dr Ali and Nurse Tess will then tailor a treatment plan that is specific to you.

Your skin will be cleansed and prepared with a special solution to ensure the carbon is able to penetrate the skin. The carbon is applied, and then the laser is passed over the skin blasting away the carbon along with congestion, clogged pore, blackheads and dead skin cells. A second pass of the laser is then completed for laser toning, to target pigmentation and large pores.

It is common to feel a warm prickling sensation over the skin, however this is a very comfortable treatment.
